Delilah

May 2011 – January 2012

Delilah was rescued from a Missouri puppy mill Thanksgiving weekend of 2011, at the age of 6 months. Delilah and her siblings had been held at a Missouri shelter to be vetted and wait for transport. They spent 2 weeks in Ohio with me as part of their journey to a New Jersey rescue. They all had respiratory infections, but were taking antibiotics. Delilah Buttercup Batterman arrived at her forever home in New York, but her health declined. Only 7 months old, Delilah made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge in her mommy’s arms knowing love and that she had a family. Delilah tested positive to Distemper, which would have been contracted at the puppy mill or shelter.
